I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve joined Lovable this week to lead all things growth - across both product and marketing!
Lovable is on a tear
Lovable is one of the fastest-growing startups - like ever. They scaled to $17M in ARR in just the first 3 months - and just crossed $50M ARR, only 6 months post launch. How insane is that!?
Fun fact - Lovable is among the fastest growing companies on Stripe too - so much so they even use us in their paid ads. Too cool.
So why am I here? Because Lovable is smart - they know the best time to invest in growth isn’t when things slow down, but when the rocket ship is already taking off. Turning explosive early traction into predictable, sustainable, and defensible growth doesn’t happen by accident. My job is to keep the current momentum going strong, but more importantly, to go deeper: acquiring, activating, retaining, and monetizing users more effectively and efficiently. And ultimately, to build smart, scalable growth loops that power Lovable for the long haul (hello Reforge!).
A mission that redefines what’s possible
I’m super bullish about Lovable. It isn’t just another tool in the low/no-code space. It’s a complete rethink of how software gets built, and more importantly, who gets to build it.
In Anton’s (our CEO) own words: “I started Lovable because I believe that democratising the ability to create software is one of the highest levers to unlock more creativity and human potential.”
LFG!
We make it possible for subject-matter experts - solopreneurs, educators, creators, indie hackers - to build and ship their own software products, without needing to know how to code.
This isn’t just about democratization - it’s a complete redefinition of what entrepreneurship looks like. Imagine a nutritionist building their own custom food-tracking app, or a coach launching a full-featured scheduling and community platform. With Lovable, that’s not a someday dream - it’s already happening.
Cool projects from the lovable community
People are already using Lovable to build incredible things. Here are just a few examples:
Full blown SaaS applications:
Debtfreeo’s entire product is built on Lovable - with an ability to sign-up/sign-in and everything in between.
And check-out DreamCut’s product built on Lovable. Just wow.
B2B websites - Heal.dev is an AI QA and their site is built on Lovable.
Pitch decks - TableOne created beautiful lovable site and fundraised whooping $450K on it.
Fun stuff:
3D kaleidoscope generator – An interactive visual built by Konstantin entirely with Lovable’s AI-assisted editor.
Vintage photobooth app.
AI-Powered nutrition tracker – Ashish built a full calorie/nutrition tracking app in under 8 hours. Yes, with real functionality.
I can keep going… But the point these are functional, polished apps built by people who had a problem to solve, not necessarily a background in code.
Secret sauce? Learning how to vibe code. But there are a ton of shortcuts - hit up tutorials (this is a GREAT one that Felix from our team created - follow him on LinkedIn, he posts super cool stuff) or follow tutorials on YouTube (sooo many great ones there).
WTF is vibe coding?
At the heart of Lovable is a new way of building called vibe coding. The term was popularized by Andrej Karpathy (co-founder of OpenAI and former head of AI at Tesla) and it’s exactly what it sounds like: you describe in the chat what you want, how it should feel, the behaviors it should have - and the AI builds it with you.
It’s not drag-and-drop. It’s not just prompting. It’s collaborative software creation, where you guide the AI by “vibe” rather than lines of syntax.
Why this matters
We’re entering an era where the future of software is no longer bound by who can code. Lovable is opening up a world where builders come from every background - teachers, designers, coaches, consultants - and they don’t need to wait on dev cycles or external funding to launch something great.
And by the way, I don’t think vibe coding will replace engineering. The role of engineers is evolving, not disappearing. Those who embrace AI as a creative partner will move faster, go further, and spend more time solving the hard, valuable problems.
This newsletter
Going forward, I’ll be sharing tons of growth learnings from Lovable, along with practical examples and tutorials on how to vibe code effectively. This is a skill we all need to pick up - and fast. I’m even teaching my kids (and yes, there are already stories of 12-year-olds building on Lovable!).
Move over, Excel. Finally.
P.S. I will be moving to bi-weekly posting frequency because… not enough hours in a day.
If you’re curious about vibe coding or are building something solo and want to test-drive the future, give Lovable a try (our free plan has 5 credits loaded, which means you have 5 prompts, and they refresh daily).
And if you’re already in the Lovable community - see you there!
Stoked for you!
Wow, legendary moves Elena. And lucky for Lovable! (I'm a fan, and use it the most for vibe coding these days)
