One of the best articles you've ever written, Elena. Congrats! Pricing and packaging is such a complicated conversation and can lead to so much time spent arguing and re-arguing things. What you wrote will help us and a ton of other companies save countless hours. Thanks!!

What an article!! Thank you so much for this! We are trying to implement this in my company and i'm wondering: in your experience, who is the person or role that actually drives this delivery? And does that change with company size?

Four self-serve plans at five, nineteen, thirty nine and seventy nine dollars a month, plus a dedicated tier from four hundred. That was EditMe. I do not know how you write a constitution that survives the fifth plan.

Really liked this one — the "14 Slack threads" line made me laugh because I see the end result of those threads every day at SaaS Price Hub...built with lovable :)

I track pricing across about 220+ SaaS tools, and you can genuinely spot the companies without a pricing constitution just by reading their pricing page. Some patterns I frequently notice:

-Plans that were discontinued months ago, still sitting there like you can buy them

-The same AI feature being free at one vendor and enterprise-only at its closest competitor

-A/B tests running on live pricing pages, so two visitors see two different prices

-Vendors with several separate pricing sections that clearly weren't written by people talking to each other
