Since past few months I am realizing that being authentic is a way to go. It is helping me put out the things I enjoy doing, and others find it valuable. I don't have a clear monetization plan yet, but I do think if my work is valuable enough, I will figure it out.

Thats some amazing self-reflection. When work gives you purpose, its rewarding just knowing that you have problems to solve, and frontiers to conquer, and in ones own way, leave a dent in the universe.

We often hear about portfolio careers, but your post explains how it evolves and why it makes sense for you, given what you’ve already built by your late 20’s.
Foundation building matters a lot before you diversify, and teaching classes might’ve been something you explored and didn’t want to do later so the portfolio is always evolving.
I am curious to hear more about how your power of pattern recognition signaled potential paths and how you used your Head of Growth mindset without accidentally building too big for the sustainability you were seeking.
I know this is an old one but thanks for sharing. I have embarked on this path more recently, although it was less of my own choosing given I unexpectedly lost my job on mat leave, and even though advising is scary i agree the the autonomy is more liberating
